Raventos i Blanc de Nit - Top Wine of the Year

Raventos i Blanc de Nit Rose landed in two Top Wine lists for 2012 - In this year's edition of the Wine Enthusiast Top 100, de Nit snags the #72 spot, one of only 6 sparkling wines on the list (and the least expensive!), rated 92 points. Editor Michael Schachner writes, "“This has a pretty light color, with dry raspberry and citrus scents. The palate is pure and elegant, with tangerine, grapefruit and nectarine flavors. This finishes longer than most, with poise and grace.”

The International Wine Report also published its Top 50 Wines with de Nit in the #47 slot, and the ONLY sparkling wine to be awarded. They write, "The 2009 Raventos i blanc Cava de Nit is a gorgeous Rosé with notes of fresh strawberries, mineral, floral, bread and sea breeze. This is so elegant and pure with a lovely crisp finish. This is one of those wines that will make you wonder why you are not drinking more of this style."
